Wed, 24 September 2008  Come meet DJ BAM and support WHFR. {Plan to attend this Saturday night's exciting fall benefit concert for WHFR Radio at the New Place Lounge in Dearborn. The benefit will feature 3 great award-winning live local blues acts: Christy and Jeff Howard, The Paul Miles Band, and The Front Street Blues Band. The 21 and over concert will kick off at around 9pm and go until 1am, with a minimum donation at the door of only $5 per person. The New Place Lounge is located at 22723 Michigan Avenue, west of Military, in West Dearborn. All proceeds will benefit our independent, non-commercial radio station that, by the way, proudly plays more blues than any other station in Detroit. Bam welcomes local DJ group "Red Channel" to the Journey Into Trance radio show. The group will be performing for all 3 hours, creating their own mix of techno, trance and house music. This is the debut performance of "Red Channel" in celebration of WHFR's popular annual Space Week event. D.J.
