After making his first public performance in the spring of 2006, Sutter has left an impressive mark in a short period of time. Along side of DJ Bassick, the following years have shown the opportunity to establish a well recognized Detroit label, Disfresh Music. John’s sets maintain an artistic balance that blend a fusion of house, tech house, minimal & Detroit techno, a quality directly shaped by his occupation as record purchaser for Detroit’s famed Record Time. His status propelled through producing Input/Output, one of Detroit’s longest running weekly events and host to both new & veteran international talents such as Blake Baxter, Dan Bell, John Tejada, Seth Troxler & Ryan Crosson. John also took up residency with Paxahau, becoming one of a select few DJ’s to represent the promotional powerhouse behind the decks.
